Community Connections
theBridge may be a close-knit family, but we're far from an exclusive group. Our goal is exactly the opposite; we want to reach out and include everyone we meet, welcoming them with open arms.
When Jesus walked the earth, He didn't just preach and teach from a mountaintop. He lived among the people, spending time and building friendships with those He encountered. As Christ-followers, we want to do the same.
That's why we have Community Connections. These events serve as a way for us to meet more of the people who live around us. They give us an opportunity to let people know about theBridge, and to extend an open invitation to our church.
To get people's attention, we like to do something memorable, yet not annoying. Whether it's helping kids build marshmallow blowguns at a street fair booth, or handing a frazzled mom a cold bottle of water in a Bridge koozie outside of Wal-Mart, we use our imaginations to get the word out.
And no matter what we do, we always have a blast doing it! So come on out for the next Community Connection —- who knows, you might just meet the next member of our family!
