"Therefore, go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation..." Jesus' last words to his disciples before He ascended into heaven boils down to one command: He said "GO!" But 2000 years later, does that command still apply to us? And if so, is it even possible for us to fulfill this command? The answer, unequivocally, is YES.

At theBridge, we're committed to the Lord's work on the global stage. Whether it is in the war-torn disaster area of Myanmar, the civil-war riddled nation of Chad, or the neighborhoods of Jefferson County, we are bringing a message of hope, peace, love, and redemption to ALL the world.

Each year, theBridge sends teams to Myanmar to help train pastors, missionaries, and seminary students for ministry. We're dedicated to providing the needs for the Burmese poverty-stricken, orphanages, and students. We recognize that a spiritual awakening is beginning in Myanmar, and through prayer, practical assistance, and personal relationships with Burmese believers, our church is helping to bring that awakening to life.

theBridge also supports missions organizations like Pioneers that are taking the Good News to people who have yet to hear it. Steven and Kristen McKenzie, a local family, are missionaries in Chad. Their family has given up the typical American life to bring the light of Christ into the darkness of a nation torn apart by civil war. We're helping them fight for the Truth in Africa through financial, prayer, and relational support. We're excited about what they're doing, and we're proud to be a part of it.

The vision of the leadership of theBridge is to see missionaries spring up from our own community of believers who will heed the call to "GO!" In the meantime, we will do all we can to support those overseas, and we'll encourage and train each person at theBridge to do their part, whether they pray, give, or go.
