Our Mission

At theBridge, our mission is:

"Connecting people to the recovering, restoring, resourcing, and releasing love of God."

1) RECOVERING

When we first place our trust in Jesus, he recovers us from a life of sin, being lost, and brokenness and we begin our new journey with Him. This is what the Bible speaks of in being "born again".

2) RESTORING

After we have been recovered like lost sheep, God seeks to restore the broken areas of our lives by His Spirit and begins to make us whole in mind, body, and spirit. The churchy word for this is "sanctification".

3) RESOURCING

As believers in Christ, we are also equipped to do the work of the ministry. We believe this comes through the power of the Holy Spirit through His baptism, through prayer, and through reading, teaching, and training in the Word of God.

4) RELEASING

After we've been recovered, restored, and resourced, it is time to be released in fruitful ministry. This could be anything from serving at the church by helping teach children, by effectively sharing your faith in the work place, planting a church, or going to a foreign mission field. It is the duty of every believer to serve Him by serving others.
