Dear friends,

Now is more than one month after crucial storm we have faced. The clue of the deadly storm and it's scars deeply printed in people's heart. Some people have been waiting for the coming of their family members. They have great hope to see them again because they did not see the dead body around. I saw one lady crying. As we visited particular village called 'Hluah Sin Kong' with foods and material, we were warmly welcome and accepted. During dividing the foods, I have interviewed the local people. They have shared to me each of their experiences with full of respect and excitingly but I can see their deep cries and tears behind the smiling faces. Some were those who stayed at this place after the storm and some were who come back from the camp. I asked one question especially to those come back from the camp. Because I myself have seen that they were fed well at the camp. I wonder that why they come back to the village where there is no enough food and even safe shelter. Their answer touch my heart. They said 'We know that there is no relief, food and shelter here in our village. But we come back here because we want to die where our family members disappear and lost. We cannot go way from this place because one day they might come back here.'

As I observed the over all situation, I have found this categories regarding with victims.
Group I. Those who are at government's refugees' camp. These people are being mostly sent back to their villages. Because the government have announced that the rescuing period is over and now is the time for resettlement or rehabilitation. (We as a Church have tried to enter one of this camps at Miawngmyah but not allowed to get in).
Group II. Those who are at Christian Church's camp. They are being fed well and allowed to stay at the camp. Some are going back to their own village without any force. (We as a Church have visited one camp at Miawngmyah and did relief work)
Group III. Those who remain at the village and go any camp. This kind of people are being hardly survive. These kind of people are waiting for the return of their villagers and preparing for them the way to come back. We as a Church recently visited one particular village called Hluanh Sin Kong and distributed foods, material and money to the villagers. There are many villages with few survivors without any relief. We are thinking and planing to go there as second time and visit some villages.
Group IV. Those who never went to any camp rather run to their neighborhood or relatives. This kind of people also hardly survive though they have a place to safely stay. (We as a Church, we plan to visit at least 4 villages and find the people and do some helps. At this kind of places, we will not only do relief wok but also do fellowship and evangelism if possible. We will in touch with the local authorities and do relief works. On coming Monday, we will go to at least 4 villages.

I have asked one leader of the village, ' Do you think that you can get the previous situation? He answered that it is impossible unless the government provides enough material for building and farming. But until no there is no any relief from the government'  they said.

Please continue your pray and support for them. Please be sured that you are doing great work through my Church as you pray and support for the victims. Though the peple we have in touched do not know you, God sees you and will reward for such great works you have done.

May the Lord bless you. See attachment.
